I was born and raised in Vietnam, where the warmth of family and community became the foundation of who I am. My journey later took me to the UK, where I pursued my undergraduate studies—a chapter that taught me resilience and independence, yet also deepened my longing for the connection and belonging I’d always cherished back home. After completing my education, I returned to Vietnam, but my heart followed a different compass, eventually leading me to Toronto, where I built a new life from the ground up as an immigrant.
Through every transition—from the bustling markets of Vietnam to the academic halls of the UK, and finally to the vibrant neighborhoods of Toronto—family has been my anchor. It’s shaped my values, fueled my perseverance, and instilled in me a heartfelt truth: home isn’t just where you are, but who you’re with. Today, as a husband and father to a newborn, that truth guides everything I do. I understand the weight of finding a place where laughter echoes, memories take root, and futures are nurtured.
